The purpose of the Shinsei Institute of Training and Development™ is to offer advice through live video and voice podcasts (pre-recorded segments that are compressed for uploading to the World Wide Web) in the areas of business and personal enrichment. The Shinsei Institute of Training and Development™ is a website for training, business, and self help. It is designed to be a crossroads of information and insight for communication, conduct, business, and life. It is also designed to encourage the application of certain principles from Science, investing, business and sports for personal enrichment and process improvement.
The Shinsei Institute of Training and Development™ was created by Derek Lemar Evans who is the main proponent of the Shinsei Method™ of Training of Development. The Shinsei Method™ is a trademark concept and method that has three basic steps: 1) to analyze key terms, concepts and practices; 2) to define or re-define those terms and concepts based on individually suitable criteria or standards of measurement such as profitability; 3) to act on those new definitions through training and planning. For example, a key concept according to the Shinsei Method™ is profitability. Profit as a principle provides a useful guide for measuring the effectiveness of communication, planning, or goal setting. However, profitability is not only applied to business or financial endeavors. The principle of profit can also be applied when evaluating decisions in parenting, education, or family administration. If profit is defined or re-defined (step two of the Shinsei Method™ ) to mean anything of benefit, then ‘profitable’ can understood in terms of time spent, insights gained, costs saved, risk minimized, etc. In addition, this new concept of profitability can be used as a standard of measurement for defining business procedures, customer service practices, or personal policies. In fact, the Shinsei Method™ advocates three pillars of well-being for personal enhancement: inner-strength, inner-balance, self-trust; and three elements of business operations: policies, practices, procedures. The Shinsei Method™ was created to provide a practical method for establishing these important factors in life and in business by using principles as the primary guides for personal and business conduct. This is the meaning behind Shinsei, which means life (Sei) and principle (Shin) or life-principle when translated from the Japanese.
